You provide MILSET with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Submit a membership request on MILSET website
  • Request for information through MILSET website, email or social media
  • Register to receive MILSET Newsletter
  • Voluntarily complete a MILSET online survey
  • Voluntarily complete a MILSET online form
  • Register to participate in a MILSET Programme through the MILSET registration system

HostDime takes the security of its network very seriously. To ensure network security, data integrity and privacy, HostDime uses programs that monitor network traffic and access to its network. These programs collect information regarding User’s use of HostDime’s services, website and network Traffic Information.

How do we store your data?

MILSET will keep your: Name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and any other collected data for seven (7) years. 
Once this period has expired, we will delete your data following a strict process that consists on:

  • Gather three (3) eyewitnesses including the MILSET Data Protection Officer, MILSET General Secretary, and an external guest to start the deletion.
  • MILSET IT Coordinator will delete the corresponding files.
  • Finally, the system will generate a txt. Script with the data deletion information (Date, time and storage details) if a user requires the deletion proof this file will be delivered

In case an early erasure of a user’s personal data is requested, the same process will follow.

What are your data protection rights?

MILSET would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access - You have the right to request MILSET for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a fee for this service if it needs to be delivered by a courier service.
  • The right to rectification - You have the right to request that MILSET corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request MILSET to complete the information you think is incomplete.
  • The right to erase - You have the right to request that MILSET erases your personal data, under certain conditions. You must complete, sign, and submit the Right to Erase Request Form to dpo@milset.org or post to 21 sur 1103, Barrio de Santiago, Puebla, Pue., México. C.P. 72410
  • The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that MILSET restricts the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to MILSET processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability - You have the right to request that MILSET transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
